The Slingshot Framework arrived in Italy through social media. In fact the first article I wrote about Gabor George Burt and the Slingshot Framework was in September 2011: propelling meaningful innovation. His team noticed the many articles I wrote and published on my social media channels and was impressed by the passion I have for the subject of developing meaningful innovation. They reach me out and after a series of conversations last year in Kiev (Ukraine), we managed to meet for the first time with Gabor.

We launched the project “Slingshot in Italy”, which included also the translation, publication and distribution of the book (now available on all major italian online bookstores).

But the Slingshot Framework has also a deep connection with Italy, the land of creativity par excellence. In fact the book begins in Florence, with the beautiful statue of David by Michelangelo: the symbol of the Renaissance, the symbol of how creativity wins against the conventional wisdom.
